Slim Aarons

Photographing attractive people, doing attractive things, in attractive places…
Few photographers have had a greater impact on modern designers than Slim Aarons. His portraits of the American and European elite during the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s are iconic, representing a bygone era of carefree lifestyles, seemingly spent perpetually on vacation.
Aarons quickly established himself as ‘the pre-eminent chronicler of American and European society in the post-war period’, travelling between the two continents to capture the casual glamour and style of that golden era.
